The Bowl Tells YouWhere the Tension Is

Place a singing bowl on someone's sternum and strike it. If they are holding tension you hear it. The tone shortens and goes flat. Move the bowl two centimetres and it opens. That feedback loop is the craft, and you cannot learn it from a video.

Over three days Dhiraj teaches both halves of the work: bowls on the body, and bowls in a room where you carry a full group. Alongside that, gongs, chimes and voice, chakra and hydro work.

Most bowl-massage certifications in Germany run as a series of modules across months. This is one weekend instead. It runs at Villa Fuchs in Heilbronn, forty minutes from Stuttgart up the A81, and draws people from across Baden-Württemberg.

What you can do at the end

Not a list of topics, just skills you can put to work straight away.

Read a Body Through Sound

Place bowls on the body and hear what comes back. Where they go, how tension changes the tone, and how to adjust in the moment instead of following a script.

Hold a Full Room

A group sound bath asks for different skills than one-to-one work: pacing, volume, knowing when to let silence stand. You practise on real people.

Play the Whole Set

Bowls, gongs, chimes and voice, plus chakra placement and hydro work with water-filled bowls. By Sunday you know which instrument answers which moment.

Work With It, Not Just Practise It

Pricing, session structure, what to say before and after, and which bowls are worth owning. You leave able to book your first paying session.

How It Unfolds, Step by Step

From foundations through to integration.

Where sound healing comes from and the principles behind it, the music theory you actually need, the science of how sound works on the body, plus the ethics and business practice of sharing this work responsibly.

Live demonstrations in both group and one-to-one settings, then hands-on labs with Tibetan bowls, gongs, chime bars, drums and voice. You play, you receive, you find your own approach.

Full practice sessions: guided group sound baths and individual healing sessions with peer feedback. You leave having led real sessions, not just watched them.

Who teaches it

Dhiraj

Tibetan singing bowls have been around me since childhood. First as background sound, then as something I actually listened to. Through my wife's practice I came back to meditation and sound, and that turned into the work I do now.

For more than seven years I've been sharing sound sessions and trainings, drawing not on technique alone but on the lived experience of how sound genuinely shifts a state of being. More than 200 people have trained with me in that time.

With roots in India I respect the tradition while creating open, welcoming spaces for modern practice. I don't just teach methods. I invite you to experience sound from within, so you can hold spaces that feel genuine and deeply nourishing.

Thirty Minutes of Pilates, Every Day

Three days sitting cross-legged over bowls asks a lot of your hips, low back and shoulders. The Studio Heilbronn is a movement studio as well as our venue, so every training day includes a free 30-minute Pilates class, enough to keep your body willing through Sunday afternoon.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know.

Yes. Yogicescape is a registered YACEP® (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider). You receive a certificate for 20 hours which you can log as continuing education in your Yoga Alliance account. Not registered with Yoga Alliance? No problem. The certificate stands on its own as proof of training.

No. Most people arrive with none: yoga teachers, massage practitioners, people from care work, and some who simply lay through a sound bath once and wanted to be the one holding it. Friday starts at zero.

No, bowls are provided for the training. Dhiraj also brings bowls from India to Heilbronn, so you can play and compare them properly across the weekend, and participants get €100 off if you want to take a set home.

Both, and that is deliberate. Saturday is bowls directly on the body; Sunday is holding a whole room in a sound bath. Most trainings teach one or the other, which leaves you able to do half the job.

Yes. Sunday is built around exactly that: session structure, pricing, what to say before and after, ethics and where your limits are. You leave with a certificate and a format you could offer on Monday.

Villa Fuchs is at Jägerhausstraße 104/1 in Heilbronn, around forty minutes by car via the A81, and similar by train from Stuttgart Hbf. If you are looking for sound healing in Stuttgart, this training is a short drive out, with a Yoga Alliance certificate at the end. From Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Heidelberg or Ludwigsburg you are there in about an hour, and participants come from across Baden-Württemberg. No overnight stay needed.

It secures your place. The group is deliberately small. The remaining €550 is paid at the studio in Heilbronn.

Singing Bowls from India: Play Them in Heilbronn, Take One Home

Dhiraj brings bowls from India to Heilbronn. You play them across the weekend, compare them properly, and learn what actually matters: wall thickness, fundamental tone, how long a note carries. If you want one, it goes home with you on Sunday.

Training participants get €100 off their singing bowls.
